We began 12 years ago by asking, "Have you ever really thought of what might happen in our community if all of God's people joined together with an unwavering commitment to reach others for Christ?" This thought ended up being a God-sized vision that became a Game Changer for our community!
WIRED is about uniting our community to serve those who are in need while growing our relationship with God through Bible study and worshiping together as the body of Christ. Every year, WIRED unites students from local student ministries to be the hands and feet of Christ by serving on a ministry team composed of students and adult leaders from different churches in the community. During the day, each ministry team will do various service projects and have a Bible study with their team. At night, every participant comes together as one body of believers to praise, worship, and thank our God for what He has done in and through us that day!
This year, WIRED Ministries believes that God has once again given us a God-sized vision that will radically improve local non-profit ministries ability to reach people for Christ as they serve their physical, emotional, financial, and spiritual needs. In fact, you can go as far as to say that WIRED 2019 will be a Game Changer for ten local non-profit ministries, as well as the students and adults that will be participating in WIRED week. Our God-sized vision is to raise $250,000 to be dispersed between these ten local, Gospel-centric ministries to fund their own Game Changer Project!
Game-Changer Project is something that each ministry would love to do or needs to do in order to more effectively reach and serve our community but have not been able to implement due to a lack of resources. WIRED Ministries asked ten local, Gospel-centric ministries to research and develop their own Game Changer projects and submit them to WIRED Ministries to review and ultimately approve. These projects will allow each ministry the ability to provide on-going ministry opportunities focused on sustainable change within the community.
